Scheduling Best Practices
For electronic payments, schedule at least 2 business days before the due date. For check payments, allow 5-7 business days. If a payment falls on a weekend or federal holiday, it processes on the next business day. Setting up payments a day or two earlier than strictly necessary gives you a buffer against unexpected delays and keeps your payment history clean.
You can view all scheduled and pending payments in the Bill Pay Activity section of your online banking dashboard. Payments can be cancelled or modified up until the processing date. Once a payment has been sent, contact 972-555-0100 for assistance with stop requests.
